Downtown Charmer

Located in the heart of downtown Carlisle, this home was built in the early 1900's and still holds aspects of it's historical charm. It is in close proximity to all that Carlisle has to offer such as local shopping and restaurants, Dickinson College and Penn State Law School, Army War College and Army Heritage Center, Carlisle Events car shows, and more. We do our best to provide all the comforts of home in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible! The space This recently updated two-story town home features two private bedrooms with queen beds, a comfortable living space, a full bathroom, and a well-stocked kitchen. We provide Wifi and a Smart TV in the living room with access to your streaming providers, as well as a DVD/Blu-ray player with a variety of movies, games, books, and puzzles for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and amenities for those who choose to cook. The home displays much of it's original charm, such as an exposed brick wall, hardwood floors, and the aesthetics of an old home. Both bedrooms, as well as the full bath, are located on the second floor of the home. With the late addition of the bathroom following the original build of the home, guests should be aware that in order to access the second bedroom, you must go through the bathroom or the first bedroom. There is one off-street parking spot out back that is accessible by the alley behind the house. The number 147 is on the little black shed at the rear of the property. There is a 120v plug accessible for level 1 EV charging next to the spot out back. There is additional parking in front of the house along the street. Other things to note Please note our listed cancellation policy. We also maintain a no refund policy once your stay has begun. This means that we will not offer a refund if you wish to leave early. The dates have already been reserved for you at that point, and we will not be able to get another booking last minute. Airbnb allows guests to submit a request for leaving early and adjusting dates, however they leave it up to hosts to accept or decline the requests because of the potential loss of income. We want our guests to know ahead of time that we will not be able to issue a refund for any changes like this last minute. Thank you.
