Villa Eleni is a reconstructed and modernised traditional family house with a large pine-grove garden. There is a pergola covered courtyard and an extensive sitting out terrace, which commands panoramic views of endless rolling green hills, the adjacent islands of Lefkas Ithaca and the sea. Entertainment: Villa Eleni is located near (15 min drive on a good road) the old fishing village of Fiskardo, which has not been destroyed by the earthquake of 1953 with its old beautiful houses. Today it's a V.I.P. place with a yacht harbour and several famous restaurants, night clubs, hotels and shops. Travel accommodation: The island of Kefalonia can be reached from the ports of Patras, KillinI, Astakos and a small port of the island of Lefkas, Vassiliki, by ferry-boat. The ports of the island are Argostoli, Lixouri, Sami, Poros and Fiskardo. There are daily or twice daily flights between Athens and Argostoli.
