The house is not suitable for children or the elderly (stairs). The space This house (100m²) is one of the only houses in Beynac that has retained its slate roof (old tradition of laying stones). It is a subtle balance between old tradition and modernity. Tradition in the ocher stone walls, exposed wooden beams, 2 large and old stone fireplaces but also an astonishing and spectacular canopy bed from the 18th century. Modernity through a fully equipped light wood kitchen (induction fireplaces, extractor, grill oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator), TV with PC connection and player DVD, ceramic table, 6 leather chairs, comfortable lounge area with 3-seater sofa. The front door from the living room has direct access to the terrace (30 m2) extended by a garden of 300 m2. This garden can be shared occasionally with the owner. We recommend that you take your meals in the shade of the large plane tree and enjoy sumptuous sunsets. The 2 deckchairs invite you to take a nap but also to sunbathe. The view is just ... spectacular over the Dordogne valley and its 5 castles. Guest access During your holiday, you will have full access to our house: the large living room, the bright bathroom, the bedroom with the four-poster bed, the second bedroom with its two triangular windows and king-size bed, the terrace, and the panoramic garden. In the summer, the owner is sometimes present and personally takes care of the upkeep. If you choose to come to Beynac with your bicycles, we will entrust you with the keys to our garden shed. We invite you to spend a relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful villages in France. Other things to note The stone house is a true haven of peace. You will especially appreciate its strategic location in the heart of the village of Beynac. The shower room is adjacent to the double bedroom, which has a four-poster bed. The toilet is separate. The second bedroom, upstairs, is also equipped with a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm) and two unique triangular windows called dormers. The village offers five paid parking lots. For you, we have negotiated a preferential rate of €5 for 24 hours or €35 for the week. Upon your arrival, our housekeeper will give you a document to place on your car's windshield.
