The space 1. SPACE: Total space is nearly 1800 sq. ft. I have a bedroom on the main floor and the two PRIVATE bedrooms, PRIVATE bathrooms, sofa and PRIVATE entrance are on the second floor below. 2. US: My partner, 2 pups and I are mostly at our cabin in West Virginia. We come back for short stays every 1-2 months but will provide ample notice. We leave the animals in WV. Most of the time the space is yours and the other roommate. 3. LOCATION: Northwest DC, behind Howard University; 2 blocks from Children's Hospital/MedStar/Washington Hospital Center. 3 miles to the Washington Monument and historical mall including the Smithsonian Museums. 1.5 miles from the Convention Center. 4. TRANSPORT: The number 80 bus picks up outside, many use Ubers and Lyfts, the Red Line METRO/Subway is about a 25 minute walk and the Green line is about a 20 minute walk away. 5. PARKING: Neighborhood street parking available ONLY (no reserved parking). SpotHero is a nice app for parking space rental. 6. Room 2 is occupied by a male, 30-something, IT professional. He's been with me for over a year. Is quiet and travels a bit. Guest access 1. CHECK-IN: You will enter through the front. If arriving via car, tell driver they must go to the front. 2. ACCESS: You will retrieve the key from the keybox on the front porch. Refer to the welcome email I send once reservation is confirmed. 3. ENTRANCE: Many use the front door and walk through the shared space to their private space. Most guests come and go and only come upstairs to exit the front door or to use the kitchen. The back door is your private entrance. Regardless, I'm flexible and invite you to do as you wish. **ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR SHOES, PLEASE** During your stay You will be given my cell phone number should you have any issues or questions. I also have a few tourist books and a map to the local restaurants. You may or may not meet me. ALWAYS refer to the welccome email I send you when you reserve the room.
