Separate entry room near Stanford

This separate entry room opens to a beautiful one-acre garden with a pool, jacuzzi, cable TV/wireless, and parking. We are just off 280 and Woodside Rd., 4 miles from Stanford. It is peaceful and quiet and we are hands-off hosts. There is no access to the house and the room does not have a frig, microwave or dishes. We are set up for independent guests who want to come and go on their own and enjoy local restaurants in Woodside, Palo Alto or RWC. Please note the very short entry door. The space We are in the most beautiful, quiet and peaceful part of Woodside in Woodside Heights. We are close to Stanford and 280. Its easiest to have a car or use a ride-share service (ie. Lyft or Uber) to come and go from here - except for the school bus, public transportation is not near or convenient. Please note that the door into the room is very short and you have to bend over to enter and take 4 steps down into a normal height room. (See photo). There is a structural steel beam over the short door so we put in our “hobbit” door which requires our guests to be limber enough to bend to enter. Guest access Your own private entry is a short door that leads out to our large yard. Guests can access the pool and jacuzzi from the yard. The one-mile hilly walk around Eleanor Drive is a great option to stretch your legs. Guests will not have access to the main house or a kitchen. The room does not have a frig or microwave - it is set up for guests who want to enjoy the many excellent restaurants nearby. The room's only door opens to our large back yard so it is a very private setting. Other things to note The room has a desk and chair, wireless internet, the option to plug in to the internet using an ethernet cord, and cable TV w/HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and other channels. We also recently added an electric kettle to boil water and make coffee/tea. Beyond the hot water for coffee or tea, the room is not set up for food - the room has no frig, microwave or dishes.
