Description
This is Mongolian traditional yurt when we married 40 years ago, our parents built it for us. It is located in our backyard about 90 feet from the street on the deck under pine trees. Path to the yurt has 12 steps and 15 degree up on some part of the deck. We have beautifully decorated, half around, eclectic full bathroom outside the yurt just 2 steps away. Yurt has low front door and low beds and seats. No tv, no wifi. It is out of your comfort zone! No human contact, self check in. The space Hand sanitizer is hanging from the support. It has one full size bed and one single bed. Microwave, coffee maker, single hot plate, and toaster oven. There is no TV and no WIFI. If you are cold, there is heater under countertop in the middle and just push button to turn on and put higher degree by pushing up/down arrow. Also, it has remote control. and timer. We have very efficient small AC installed in the yurt. But please try to save energy. Just opening your door for a while would work wonder for having hot summer day. The yurt is in our backyard and nothing I can do if you do not like its location! Guest access You are able to access to the backyard and stay in the yurt. We have welcome drink and plate for you in the refrigerator. We have apple cider, water in the refrigerator, Oreo cookies, and oatmeal in the jar, herbal tea bags on the countertop. Make yourself home! Trash cans are in the yurt and bathroom including recycling bin, when you leave, please do not pile up or remove linens. Please be clean if not nature will come to you very fast (ants mostly) and respect the property and make yourself home. There is a place to leave your shoes in the yurt and also slippers on your left side with red chair and hooks on the wall. Other things to note Please do not try to go climb to the tree or under tree. Because it is very steep and slippery. If you decide to go out and up, you are taking own risk. Lot of logs around there and they are all loose! Deck can be slippery when it is raining or wet, even it is dry, trees shed leaves, pine needles, barks, skin, black liquids, sap, specially if it is windy. We try to remove it accordingly but be careful, always follow handle specially when go down and mind with all those fallings. It is nature. Nothing we can do except try to remove as much as we can.
