Description
Welcome to this old art deco 1920s craftsmen home, nestled in the south end of Tacoma. It's a clean space and conveniently located next to everything you need such as shopping, a supermarket and transportation. Wanna go to Seattle? Take a bus or Uber to the Sounder. Staying local? It’s close to lots of things to do and see. The space The house is a gem with hardwood floors, a fireplace, classic 1920's original hardware surrounded by cute little homes and all the major essentials. It's been in my family for more than 30 years! Old charm with lots of original features, I'm having fun updating this beauty, but it's a work in progress. So with that, you'll find quirky, but manageable characteristics such as one or two outlets per room, and a cottage-like kitchen. Your room has two windows that allows natural light to come in. It's quiet, except for the occasional pitter patter of tiny puppy paws, but guests find that it's a relaxing and comfortable space. You can expect a queen-size bed, access to fast WIFI, your own key to come and go as you wish, four comfortable pillows, access to a closet, armoire full of extra blankets and throws if you get chilly or if you just like being wrapped up and cozy. You'll also find an extra extension chord and an adapter. I've been told my place is so welcoming and homey and the house, while older, comes equipped with everything you need, from a fully stocked kitchen, to gadgets that you may want that you won't find at a hotel! During your stay I prefer to give guests their space, but you can ask me anything and I’m available to help! Other things to note I have a petite dog so I hope you don’t mind pooches.
