Beautiful 2 BR cottage on the water between pond & creek. Whole house with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, work areas with high speed internet, books, games, and ROKU TV. Primary bedroom faces the pond; 2nd bedroom is creekside. Outdoors include: gas firepit, picnic tables, gas grill, games, and seating by the water. This special get away is close to stores and Poconos seasonal activities, but tucked away for your relaxation and enjoyment. The space Comfortable beds(2),writer's/work desks (2), outside propane fireplace, creekside seating, picnic table, gas grill, and more. Many recent items include upgraded internet, SMART TV/ DVD, mini-split heating/AC, new lighting, well-stocked kitchen (tools, spices, condiments), and premium bath linens. Plenty of parking (newly paved driveway). Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor space. Cottage is a remodeled (2024) mobile home, so ceilings are not 8'. Guest access We have many amenities, guests have use of the entire house and backyard/garden areas (between creek and house). Please note, the yard is private but the pond is joint property. It is a quiet peaceful area. No loud parties, please. No swimming, fishing, or boating at the pond. We prefer to rent to people 25 years old and older. Located at the intersection of Laurel Rd. & Breezewood Rd., access our driveway by turning onto BREEZEWOOD Rd. This is a quiet country setting, a place to get away from it all, relax, enjoy, and rejuvenate. Lots of places to explore (Jim Thorpe, wineries, antiquing), eat, hike, bike, raft, and walk. Nestled in Mahoning Valley, Quiet Waters Cottage is close to Lehighton, Weissport, Jim Thorpe (15 min. drive), the D&L Trail , Lehigh Gap Nature Center (15 min. drive), and several places for skiing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, biking, skiing, and hiking. After an active day, return to Quiet Waters for restful sleep. Enjoy a creekside dinner or visit some of the many local restaurants then take a long walk on the country roads. We have a library of books of various genres, DVDs and games for your use. Many good restaurants and places to visit. Lots to see and do! Explore the many shops, farm stands and festivals close by. The pond is jointly owned by the houses along the road, but Quiet Waters Cottage guests are allowed to walk on pond property. No swimming, fishing, or boating in pond, please.
