Spacious home, surf beach location, pet friendly
Nestled on Paperbark is a sunny spacious 4 bed home ready to welcome you to Inverloch. The house is unassuming from the street but deceptively spacious inside. All the bedrooms are larger than usual with built in robes. The main bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite, walk-in robe and air-conditioning. The second bedroom looks out onto the side garden and has a double bed. There is a games room with a tv, Wii and PS children's games, children's DVDs, some board games and a Fusball table. The family room has plenty of space for entertaining and opens out onto a pergola covered deck which is sunny and warm in the morning and then shaded by the house after midday. There are dining tables seating 10 both indoors and outside, as well as a BBQ and a bi-fold kitchen window which makes outdoor meals a breeze. Leather sofas in the living area look to a flat screen TV with the back garden beyond. The family room is also air-conditioned and has large fans for when the doors are open. Two more bedrooms are accessed from a hallway off the family room, one with two king singles and also a single bed which enjoys beautiful afternoon sun and the other with one king single and two single beds which looks out to the native back garden. The family bathroom, separate WC and well equipped laundry are located between these two bedrooms. A linen fee is automatically included in your booking quote but this is optional, so please ask and I can delete it. The outdoor shower is just behind the garage so that when returning from the beach you can drop everything at the side gate and keep going round the house via the shower to the laundry door and the family bathroom. The garage at the property is no longer available to guests as it provides storage for the tools and equipment used to maintain the property, which may present a danger to children. However there is parking for four cars on the drive in front of the garage. Please ask the owner is you anticipate needing more parking for your stay. Leaving the front door, the SLSC and the main surf beach carpark are a 5 minute walk away. Turning in the other direction the beach is even closer via a path which cuts across Lohr Avenue and onto the beach near Wreck Creek. Further along Paperbark Place the creek runs from a shallow lake which is surrounded by reeds; standing here in the evening you have the roar of the surf on one side and frogs croaking in the lake on the other. Early morning walks along the beach into town are recommended as an ideal start to the day and there are several options for coffee before the walk back. Alternatively a walk to the cliffs at the opposite end of the beach would take about 1/2 hour. Inverloch is a 1 hour 45 minute drive from Melbourne. Follow the Monash freeway towards Warrigal and take the A422 south to Koo Wee Rup to join the South Gippsland highway which will take you to Inverloch via Wonthaggi.
