Strandmarken - Beach House on Island Beach

Island Beach is one of the safest and most pristine beaches on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. The house is nestled amongst sand dunes and native bushland, only 100 meters from the beach. The house features european double glazed windows to keep you cool during summer and warm during winter. The house is very secluded for privacy and relaxation. It is a great spot to revitalise your soul. The house is tastefully decorated to make you feel at home. The space Strandmarken is tastefully decorated in a beach theme to make you feel at home. The house is fully insulated and features european double glazed windows and ceiling fans to keep you cool in summer. During the colder month there is a combustion heater to keep you warming and cosy. The kitchen features an expresso machine, microwave, waffle iron, stick blender, soda stream and other essentials. There is a BBQ with a wok burner outside. The small shed outside features sun lounges, sun shelter, beach trolley and beach games that can be taken down to the beach. The house sits away from the road, thus making it safe for children. Kangaroos, Wallabies, Goannas and many wild birds come and visit the property. Guest access The house is surrounded by natural bush with cleared space around the house.There is ample parking space for your car. We have a small shed for our guests where a beach trolley,sun shelter, esky, sun lounges, boogie boards and beach games are stored. Access into the house is via a keypad lock.Please contact us for your personalised number before you go to the Island. An Information folder is supplied with plenty of information about Kangaroo Island and what to explore. Other things to note What you see is what you get! On arrival you receive a complementary bottle of local Kangaroo Island wine to make you feel at home. We supply all linen and towels for no extra charge. There is no extra charge if more than 2 people stay. Basic provisions and a good coffee machine is supplied.
