Description

Month Long Rentals Desired. Couples, singles only. Small privately situated, quaint home, on corner lot ,on dead end street , 2 mi from town of Mount Kisco and 50 min train ride to NYC, amenities near, country setting , woods, with birds,l deer and turkey. Big lawn, ping pong, gardens,. Ideal for seeking solitude, relaxation or creative outlet . proximity to Cold Spring, Beacon , storm king. there is a cottage that can be rented for an additional 100 nite, great for a guest or working. The space my home is art inspired.. lots of books and art on the walls a bay window in the dining room which is a great nook to sit and read a book very homey space on a dead end location so quiet. full amenities, kitchen items. towels, sheets etc.. washer drier on bedroom level and basement for larger loads cottage out back for those needing office space can be rented separately for an additional $100 a nite...otherwise locked and unbooked . Guest access you have access to the main house.. there is a cottage out back which is off limits.. unless you rent it for the month as well.. otherwise i will not rent to others and it will be shut down and locked during your stay one main bedroom, two add’l bedrooms. one with a twin bed other queen fbed, tv .. my office can be used to sit or place your own computer to work... but there are personal items i do not want moved or touched... also all books in my personal library if you want to look at them you must be replace in the same spot from where taken.. do not remove if you can't put back in place.. while i have a fireplace , im cautious about its usage.. i must know that whomever rents understands completely how to use and be safe or i wont want it used... no fires can be going when people are out or off to bed.. . this would be discussed if its a few times usage. wood is on me. if regular use a fee to be replaced will be added someone who loves cats would be most welcomed as i currently have one at the house... and I will give a discount on the property for helping to feed her and let her in and out.... the basement currently is off limits... Other things to note i want the house be cleaned weekly ($70 cash to the ladies), as i like my home to be very clean. If you are extremely neat and can clean .mb it can be done every other week.. it must be super clean and everything where you found it when leaving..... the cleaning ladies will change the sheets for you, but they do not do laundry, so if you are staying more than a week you will need to run your own towels , sheets and clothes though the wash.. In the very cold months Jan-Apr i will leave my house with a full tank of oil ... if you are here in the winter for a month or more.. i will ask that you fill the tank back to where i left it and share this fee in half... as i would leave on 60 when i go away.. but ..... i can not regulate how warm people want to keep the house, esp during long periods , so its up to you to put the thermostat where you want it. if you leave it mid 60 should be fine , but if your like me and want 70s you may want to pay a few hundred more to keep it that way..
