Red Head Beach House

Ideal for a quiet getaway - spacious and sunny 4-bedroom 2-bathroom house minutes walk via a rainforest pathway to two beaches. House backs on to a koala corridor and has ocean glimpses from the front. Located in a quiet cul de sac street. 5 min drive to shops and taverns. Situated on the beautiful beaches 15 minutes north of Forster and 20 minutes from Taree. The house is just under 3 hours from north Sydney (Hornsby). The area has a number of walking trails through close-by bushland areas. The house is located 15min drive from Fosters and 25 min drive from Taree. House has 3 balconies, 2 living rooms with spotted gum timber flooring and 2 bathrooms (one with a spa bath). Located in a quiet cul de sac street (so no noisy guests please). 5 min drive or 15 min beach walk to Black Head shops, Tavern and Bowling Club. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and built-in wardrobe. This room has plenty of space for a cot or kid's mattress (kids fold-away mattress available on request). There are 2 living areas, one with a 55'' TV and the other with a 10-seater extendable dining table and a new comfortable double sofa bed. Fully equipped upstairs kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and electric oven. The rear balcony is set-up for outdoor dinning with a large BBQ and hammock. Large front balcony with outdoor sitting arrangements. Downstairs there are three bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms and a room with a trundle (two single beds). There is a large separate bathroom with shower and a large spa bath. Downstairs laundry room with machine machine. A third large covered balcony with sun beds leads to the secluded grass back garden with surrounding bush. Reverse-cycle air conditioner units for cooling and heating upstairs and downstairs with additional electric heaters if needed. Double garage and off-street caravan/boat trailer parking. Please note vodaphone reception is very poor around the house. Optus and Telstra are usually fine. House is situated close to a number of beautiful beaches with different characters. Great for fishing, surfing, strolls on the beach, rocky shore hopping and near by access to coastal and bush walking trails. Some of the close by bushland has a number of unsealed roads perfect for mountain biking or bush running. Close by coastal lake/ river good for boat fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Large golf course at Tallwoods Village. Check brochures at the house. Located in a quiet cul de sac street. 5 min drive or 15 min beach walk to Black Head shops, Tavern and Bowling Club. Coastal walk or 5 min drive to Diamond Beach where you will find a great pizza take away, bottle shop, and beauty spa centre with a nice restaurant. Additional restaurants are located at the close by Tallwoods Village. House located at the coast between two large regional centres of Fosters and Taree (20 minute drive to each). Only 3.5hr north of Sydney CBD (This is NOT the Red Head located close to Newcastle/Central Coast). There is minimal public transport to Red Head. Trains and planes to Taree, from north or south. You will need to organise your own linen. Bed sheets, duvet/pillow covers and towels are not provided, however local linen service available on request (approx. $40 per queen bed including a variety of towels) Restrictions on check in day may apply during holiday periods Mobile reception in the house, with vodaphone in particular, can be patchy. No pets or smoking allowed in the house. No schoolies Please be respectful of the neighbours as they live in the area and do shift work including weekends. No noise after 10PM: Noise must be kept to acceptable levels at all times (in particular no loud noise outside of the house after 10pm). Complaints from neighbours of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour may result in the loss of the guests security deposit. If there are multiple complaints, we reserve the right to evict all guests from the premises immediately without refund of rent or security deposit.
