Cozy studio apartment with patio and yard that has a beautiful view of the international Lake Memphremagog. Dog & cat friendly. It is close to the Kingdom Trails, Burke Mountain, Jay Peak Resort and just a 10 minute drive to Canada (30 minutes to Magog, Quebec). Lots of opportunity for outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, sailing, skiing/snowboarding and more. Welcome to use the patio and fire pit (Please bring your own wood and buy local). The space - Private Kitchen - Patio -Great View -Cable TV (with Netflix) -Laundry if needed (Shared Space and at extra cost) -Owners have three friendly dogs (Goldendoodle, Golden Shepard, & Cattle Dog Mix) - Please note these pups live right above you and it's their home, too. Expect some occasional noise of pawprints or toys on the floor. If it becomes an issue during your stay, please contact Ian or Taryn. -Chickens also free range the property during the day. They are all very friendly but please do not feed them. Guest access Private entrance & patio with firepit. Guests must use outdoors steps to access the private entrance. Other things to note Hosts are both teachers. Please be mindful when booking with us on weekdays that you may hear us getting ready for school in the early mornings. We do have 3 dogs upstairs that you will hear from time to time but we appreciate it when guests let us know if they are being too loud. We don’t mind bringing them upstairs but please keep in mind this is their home, too! If you are bringing your own pet with you, please keep them leashed outside. If you prefer to have them off leash, please schedule a meeting with us to meet our dogs and chickens as well. We would love for our animals to meet but want it to be a successful and comfortable environment for all. Do NOT inquire about dates you are not actually going to book!! This blocks those dates and doesn’t allow other guests to possibly book with us. We are noticing some guests will send an inquiry for dates they are not actually interested in just to message us about other dates that are already booked. If you see dates are not available in our calendar, that means they are already booked.
