Celebrate the great outdoors and explore the English-style cottage garden, beautiful in every season. Birdwatchers can delight in the abundance of King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Cockatoos and other bird life in the area - attract them to the backyard with the native bird feeders and watch them up close! Relax in the backyard in the warmer months and cook up an Aussie storm on the BBQ. Take a stroll through the bush behind the property, down to pond to feed the ducks or take bikes down the old Catalina Raceway for the kids to race around the track. Just a short walk down the hill, the Katoomba Aquatic Centre has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym and a large children's play centre. The cottage is a short drive to iconic destinations; the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Katoomba Falls and Scenic World; and a few minutes drive to Katoomba supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants.
