Electricity is an expensive source of energy on the islands in Thailand as not provided by the government. It is not included and is to be paid by the guests at a rate of 8 THB/kW. As stated in the listing, a 10,000 THB cash deposit will be required upon arrival to cover your electricity costs during your stay. The weekly amount is modest if you use electricity responsibly (approximately 400 THB/day | +/-11€-$). A photo of the electricity meter will be provided upon your arrival and departure from the villa to calculate the amount to be paid or refunded by the manager.
