Bridgehouse – Britt ON

Enjoy a relaxing getaway in Britt "Hidden Pearl of Georgian Bay". This little home has history and is located across from "Still River" in Britt, Ontario. Only minutes away from beautiful Georgian Bay. Ideal for a small family or a few friends. The space It's a one bedroom cottage, and has an extra single bed (in an alcove off the sitting area), a living room area, a kitchen and a 4 piece bathroom. Although this home comes equipped with most kitchen & bathroom essentials, you will need to bring your own hand & shower soap, shampoo, personal care items, bath, beach, dish & tea towels, and any extra bedding that will make you feel safe during this time of uncertainty during the Covid19 pandemic. A small barbecue is available upon request. The town of Britt has two Marina’s, a General Store (liquor & beer available for purchase), Laundromat, Restaurant, Legion, Post Office, Library, Public School & Fire Station & two local Churches. Boat rentals & launch are available just down the road at the Marina in town. Because of the Covid19 pandemic the restaurant is closed & the Legion is offering limited services and social distancing is being practice at all public area’s in the town. However, there is a chip wagon that is open for your convenience located a few kilometers down Highway 69 towards Sudbury. This property is ideal for couples or small families, to enjoy outdoor activities year round, ie. fishing, hiking, boating, enjoying the great outdoors. If relaxation & solitude is what you enjoy then it is a great place to get away from all the hustle & bustle of the big city... this is a great retreat! Normally you are invited to stop by the "Happenin Inn" log house to enjoy some live music & good times. However during the Pandemic the Inn is closed. However, currently there is a pile of logs on the property that you should avoid. Other things to note Currently there is a pile of large logs on the property ready for splitting. For safety reason's please avoid climbing on them.
