BareFoote Estate is a secluded pristine vacation home situated within one of the most exquisite private developments in the Caribbean, The Preserve at Botany Bay. If you prefer to gather up your gear and drive to the beach for the day, vehicle access and parking is permitted. BareFoote Estate is for the vacationer looking to get away from it all, but still enjoys convenient access to the best restaurants on island and world renowned waterfront duty-free shopping. BareFoote Estate, inspired by West Indies design, seamlessly transitions indoor and outdoor spaces. The stately entryway leads to an expansive living room with a tray ceiling of perfect proportions. The first floor also includes a dining room, chef’s kitchen, powder room, wet bar and a master suite. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, complete with a 6-burner gas Viking range, full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, generous storage and food preparation space. The first floor has a large wrap-around veranda with 270-degree views of the ocean. The veranda includes both private and group gathering spaces for lounging, eating, entertaining and watching Caribbean sunsets. The first-floor veranda also includes a gas grill and charcoal grill off the kitchen/dining room and an outdoor shower proximate to the master suite. The second floor includes three bedrooms, each with king beds, ensuite bathrooms and large closets. Two of the bedrooms have private balconies overlooking the Caribbean. An additional room on the second floor has 2 bunk-beds with a large walk-in closet, ensuite bath, making BareFoote Estate a perfect home for families with children. Complimenting these bedrooms is another room with crib and wet-bar connecting to a laundry with full-size washer and dryer. Regarding sleeping arrangements, our wonderful Estate can accommodate 8 adults comfortably in the 4 bedrooms with King beds and up to 5 children in the bunk room. We will consider 2 young/small adults permission to utilize the children's bunk room - allowing for a maximum of 10 adults. The pool area is directly located off the main house. Relax by the infinity pool while enjoying ocean breezes during the day or stargaze in awe of the vast Caribbean sky during the evening. If the mid-day sun shines too brightly, adjacent to the pool is a pavilion for cooling shade. The open-air pool pavilion also includes an additional grill and secondary kitchen area, outdoor bar and gorgeous seating area perfect for al fresco dining. Located at the pristine west end of St Thomas, BareFoote Estate is only a short 20-minute drive from the St Thomas airport and is convenient to Charlotte Amalie and the island’s many attractions. Botany Bay is also home to the spectacular Mermaid’s Chair (where the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet) and Sandy Bay, both of which are treasures of the island. BareFoote Estate is a family home that was constructed with great attention to detail and is rented on limited basis to discerning renters who are looking for a taste of paradise in the Virgin Islands.
