Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay and the town. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay. AVAILABLE : The Crows Nest The "CROWS NEST" of our historic Craftsman house - it was used as an observation room during the war. Beautiful and bright with 180 degree + window views with shared 2 bathrooms (1 full bath and a half bath) in private home, a one person double bed (if you are over 6' it might be too short for you), hardwood floors with natural fiber area rug, sitting/desk area, wireless internet, Towels and a spa Bath Robe. We supply Dr bronners soap, shampoo and conditioner. We also provide ear plugs for those light sleepers. A light take away breakfast provided. Iron/ironing board available upon request. We are also minutes from the Laguna Seca Race Track, the Monterey Fairgrounds (Jazz festival, Blues Festival!) and of course, if golf is your pleasure, Monterey Bay is the place to come!
