Though many of the buildings around the property have been converted into commercial space, this house remains a home. Some traffic from cars can be heard when you're outside at peak times. Access to the 45-mile constitution trail (great for walking or biking) is less than a block away. Close drive to Peoria, Springfield, and Chicago. Best way to get from A to B is a car. If you’re into walking/running/biking, the constitution trail is a block from the house. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area. Please, no smoking or pets. Please note that there is just one bathroom at the house, which is on the first level. If your group size exceeds 7, timing with showers and the available hot water could be limited if all showers are taken back-to-back. We do offer multiple “stations” for getting ready in the morning (check out bedroom vanities and mirrors).
