Fancy a short stay in the countryside or a quiet place that promotes creation and healing, come and explore our vast estate. Our Rural House is located in the heart of a beautiful agro-forestry environment in the magnificent region of the Eastern Townships. You will live near a huge, completely private wildlife habitat created thanks to the initiative of your hosts. Discover the small Refuge near the vast navigable pond. Children, teenagers and pets are welcome. The space One of our exceptional features is that we systematically block our calendar the day before your arrival and the night of your departure. This allows us to offer you an early check-in time from 1:00 p.m. and a late checkout time until 5:00 p.m. at no additional cost. You have exclusive use of the accommodation. The Logis is fully equipped including for remote working (fiber optic internet) and is located in a building independent of our house. Fireplace (all necessary wood is provided), air conditioning, electric heating and all household appliances. Children are expected and will find an imaginative and stimulating terrain. Your pets are more than accepted, they are welcome and hosted (max 2 at no additional cost). Enjoy the small Refuge and access to the marsh for bird and wildlife watching, rowing, canoeing, kayaking (provided free of charge) or paddle boarding (not provided) and fishing. You can move freely throughout our property, which spans over 350 acres, without meeting anyone other than us. We maintain nearly 9 km of trails year-round. The rear balcony, accessible only from the master bedroom, is a great spot for stargazing. There's no light to be seen. Guest access Thanks to our rural home, we make our vast forest estate accessible. We want to share this magnificent haven of peace that we have been developing for nearly 50 years. Even the large pond is the result of a development carried out in 1983 in partnership with Ducks Unlimited at the initiative of Pier, who is a retired biologist. Firewood is provided free of charge to fuel the indoor fireplace, the Refuge fireplace and also the outdoor fireplace if you wish to have a campfire on your patio. Cyclists, snowmobilers and ATV riders can store their equipment in the heated garage. Plug-in VEHICLE owners have free access to a charging station. Other things to note Coffee, sugar and cream or milk are provided with the coffee makers as well as green tea and herbal teas. Oil and spices are available for cooking. A fondue set is available with combustible gel. A gas barbecue is available. Canoes, kayaks and small rowboats with oars, paddles and rowing equipment as well as personal flotation jackets (including children's sizes) are at your disposal for a ride, a fishing trip or wildlife watching on the marsh. More than 2 km of open water are navigable back and forth. We're committed to ensuring you have equipment and accessories as well as safety equipment in good condition. We also maintain our trails to keep them safe.
