Freshwater Beach Holiday Home

Our Freshwater Beach Holiday Home is situated on the Jurassic Coast with beautiful beaches and iconic scenery. The Dorset location is ideally situated to help you create wonderful memories with your loved ones. The holiday park we're located on offers a bar, restaurant, three swimming pools, a bowling alley and generous facilities all year round. Entertainment is subject to seasonal timings. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach, the South West Coastal Path and the Hardy Trails. The space Our holiday home has two bedrooms. A master bedroom with an en suite toilet and a smaller bedroom with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living area for extra guests. We have a fully functioning kitchenette and dining area which leads to the open plan sofa area with Smart TV. Outside we have benches for outdoor dining. Guest access The property is completely yours while you stay there. The only space we ask you avoid is the outside storage box. Other things to note Guests have access to the shared facilities at the Holiday Park including the laundry room. There's a Spar shop on site for your essential items. If you needed a supermarket there's a Morrisons (8 mins away), a Waitrose (10 mins) and a Lidl (12 mins) all in Bridport. Bridport's market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the Jurassic Fun Centre there is a bookable ten pin bowling alley, gym, games room, sauna, hot tub and steam room. There is also live entertainment in the evenings (subject to seasonal timings). There are three swimming pools onsite, two indoor with a children’s play area and an outdoor pool also with a children's area. Guests will need to pre-book swimming sessions. The Rolling Stone Bar and Restaurant is onsite and shows live sports and has a roof terrace with sea views. The Holiday Park invites food takeaway vans onto site (subject to seasonal timings) at weekends. Expect to see pizza, fish and chips and Mexican food on the menu. There's also an outside play park for children with slides and swings. Freshwater beach and the River Bride estuary is a beautiful spot for a coastal walk. It's a 40-minute walk over the hill East to Burton Bradstock beach and a 40-minute walk along the coast in the other direction to West Bay. Both are stunning with excellent cafes and restaurants. Do book to avoid disappointment - they get very busy at peak holiday season. For keen walkers (or runners) we’d suggest seeing the Thorncombe Beacon and even the Golden Cap, two peaks of the coastline, though these are a good 2-hours away on foot. Tourist attractions nearby include Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, two iconic hotspots of the Jurassic Coast. Further afield going West there’s also the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis. If you’re looking East there’s the Abbotsbury subtropical gardens, Abbotsbury Swannery and Chesil Beach for anyone wanting to do a spot of fishing! Dorchester is a pretty town with a rich history and Weymouth and Portland are great for a day out including the Sea-Life Centre for kids.
