Life is good on the rivers, the springs-fed Rainbow river is one of the best, and the Withlacoochee river is as good as it gets! Note, our pool is NOT HEATED. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. The space Our dock is right on the Rainbow River and a mere 200 yards from where it meets the Withlacoochee River. Kayak right from our dock!. You may bring your boat if you wish. Note: Our pool is not heated. We are located about 5 miles from the Rainbow Springs State Park. The Rainbow Springs State Park is Florida's fourth largest spring, it is where the Rainbow River is born! The Rainbow River is popular for swimming, tubing, snorkeling, scuba and kayaking. The Withlacoochee river is unique and beautiful and offers some of the best fishing in the area. Our spacious home is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood, let's keep it that way by not disturbing the neighbors. No pets of any kind allowed. Guest access We offer a spacious, rustic, older but well-maintained home with 2,400 sq ft (+ enclosed garage) and a dock on the Rainbow River. You will have the entire house to yourself. The transparency of the Rainbow River is absolutely breath taking. Millions of gallons of fresh water flowing gently from the headsprings of the Rainbow River (in Rainbow Springs State Park) and eventually, after about six miles, converging with the Natural Withlacoochee River. The point where the clear water of the Rainbow River mixes with the tannic waters of the Withlacoochee is really incredible. The change in coloration from clear to tannic is indescribable, it happens about 150 yards from our dock! We have 3 bedrooms 2 baths, 1 car garage. Completely Furnished. Even a toaster and microwave in the kitchen. Don’t forget to grab your rod and reel and get ready for some of the best bass fishing in the state in the nearby Lake Trousseau. If you are a horse lover, nearby Ocala is in the heart of horse country. We are also very close to the 40 mile Withlacoochee rails to trails bike trail. Of course, the main attraction is right out your back door... the clear spring fed, the Rainbow River. 6 kayaks ! Several marinas close by where you can rent boats and pontoons. In reference to pets: NO pets are allowed. Tenant will assume all liabilities in regards to their guests. Any Damages caused to our property or other’s property or persons, will be the responsibility of the Tenant. We ask that, you, the Tenant and your guesrs, will respect and have consideration for our neighbors and their property. Our property is Registered with the Florida Department of Revenue, paying the current Transient Rental Tax and Registered with Marion County, Fl. paying the current Tourist Development Tax.
