Iona is located close to DE Turf and the Delaware beaches. The Inn looks out over Cedar Creek, a pristine estuary leading to Delaware Bay. This vista provides many stunning sunrises and sunsets. Since Iona is a working farm, the front of the house looks out over the barn, pastures, and fields. The front porch and second-floor balcony provide perfect viewing to enjoy the early morning scenery with your first cup of coffee and breakfast provided to all guests. Iona is a non-smoking property. The space Iona Stables and Inn is located on a 35-acre farm just east of Rt 1, at a little crossroads called Argo’s Corner. We are situated 3 miles south of Milford, DE. It is only 3 miles to Delaware Bay and 16 miles to the Ocean at Cape Henlopen State Park. The Lewes, Rehoboth, Tanger Outlets, and Delaware beaches and State Parks are all located just south of us along the Rt 1 corridor. We are located 1 mile south of the new Bayhealth Medical Center. We are also 9 miles south of the DE Turf Sports Complex. Guest access Guests have access to the first-floor rooms, the game room in the basement, and the outdoor balcony, porches, and patio. Guests are also welcome to visit the barn to see the horses and cows. During your stay Linda and Robert enjoy meeting the guest and sharing about the local points of interest and the history of our area. Other things to note Families with toddlers, due to the accessible antiquities, we are not set up to accommodate toddlers.
