Located in Andrew Wyeth country (town of Cushing, Maine) River Run is a recently renovated 600 square ft cottage 75 ft off the St George river. It sits on 260 feet of privately owned tidal salt water river frontage just miles upriver from the Atlantic Ocean. Great for a romantic get away or to reconnect and recharge. Spend your time on the shore or sight seeing in the near by towns of Rockland and Camden The space We live on the property behind the cottage. We respect your privacy however we are here if you need us for direction or want to share a glass of wine at the end of the day by the camp fire. Our location is quiet and peaceful in a rural neighborhood although you will hear the wild turkeys, seagulls and other birds or perhaps our neighbor's horses. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe cottage. You will have total access to the shore front with easy slope to the shore. Down by the water you will forget all your troubles while you are surrounded by nature. We are located just a couple of miles off of Route One so traveling to attractions and local sight seeing places is easy. Kick back, relax and enjoy. Guest access Guest have complete access to the yard from the cottage to the shore. Other things to note 75% of our electric, heating and cooling is provided by solar panels on our property. We are on a well and septic system with pumps so please be thoughtful with usage.
