Guest access Terrace and small garden Other things to note Vigo GR-53 panoramic TRAIL This natural route in Vigo circles the entire city through its mountains. The trail runs along 40 km and is the largest hiking route in Vigo. Given its size, it can be covered in 3 phases of about 5 hours each. In addition, along its route there are numerous accesses from which to start shorter routes. Starting from the south, the first section is 15 km between Saiáns-A Pasaxe, with medium-high difficulty as it is uphill. It starts from the church of Saiáns, next to the Vigo-Baiona road (PO-552), and passes through the Municipal Ethnography Classroom, the forest parks of Saiáns and Oia, the parish of Coruxo, the petroglyphs of the Bronze Age of Fragoselo and, from there and in continuous ascent, through the forest park of Monte dos Pozos and the peaks of the Alba and Cepudo mountains. After these magnificent viewpoints, the trail descends to A Pasaxe, next to an industrial estate between the Vigo parish of Zamáns and Vincios, in the municipality of Gondomar. The intermediate section of the GR-53 trail as it passes through Vigo, is 14 km between A Pasaxe and Puxeiros, is of medium-low difficulty and part of the industrial estate of A Pasaxe, where the previous section ends. In a slight ascent, it goes to Zamáns, passes by the reservoir, the riverside forest and the water mills. The path continues up to the University Campus of Vigo, crosses it and runs through the forest parks of Beade and Cabral and ends at the top of Puxeiros. The last stretch of this natural route of Vigo is 11 km: Puxeiros - A Madroa. It is of medium-low difficulty and a duration of 3 and a half hours. It starts at the top of Puxeiros, on the border with the municipality of Mos, and crosses the forest parks of Carballal and Vixiador. On your way, next to the Candeán cemetery you can see various prehistoric dolmens or make a stop at Vigozoo, before finishing the route in the Teis forest park.
