The Country Cottage-Farm Pets,Pool,Peaceful Escape

The Country Cottage is a newly constructed space attached to our barn- a charming antique farmhouse theme inspired by my love of vintage. It has its own private entrance, fenced yard, garden, pasture views, plus gated and secure parking. Our guests also have access to the farm animals -who adore animal crackers & pets. The Country Cottage is ideal for a party of one, a couple or a small family . The country setting and quiet location make it a prime spot to escape for a weekend or longer. The space Located on 7 acres with amazing views, close to Weatherford Lake, Eagle Mountain Lake and Mineral Wells State Park. We're a prime location for Stock Show and Cutting Horse folks looking for comfortable lodging with a more homey feel. We even have space to park your truck/ trailer if needed. We are close to antique shops, amazing eateries , Clark Gardens and Chandor Gardens. The Country Cottage offers easy access to I-20 and is only 27 miles from the Dickey's Arena and the West 7th area of Ft Worth. The cottage has a fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, washer /dryer, central AC/heating, ceiling fans, cable TV / internet, dvd player, luxurious bath amenities, double bed with luxury linens, queen sleeper sofa, and much more. We want your stay to be relaxing and effortless- your little oasis in the country. We ask that you treat our place as you would your own. Please clean up any spills, wash your dishes, don't leave damp towels on the furniture and take care not to stain the furniture or linens. Also regarding the security deposit, please be aware you CAN be charged for any damage to the property or furnishings. If this is not something you'd like to consider during your stay, our place may not be a good fit. ( I realize this seems obvious, but you'd be surprised). I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process. Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage to include a small fire pit right outside their door, an outdoor kitchen for grilling, and a swimming pool behind the main house, upon request. There is also a hot tub available that is attached to our backyard pool accessible to our guests if weather permits. We have a fully restored 1959 Airstream Pacer vintage trailer with garden seating on the property that is available to tour and is a fun photo op. Best views of our Texas sunsets are found out there. Just a reminder - When you stay in an Air BNB you're staying in someone's home- PLEASE LEAVE IT THE WAY YOU FOUND IT! Other things to note Friendly pets are welcome as we're obviously animal lovers. However, pet approval is REQUIRED prior to arrival. Due to the cozy nature of the cottage, we must limit fur babies to TWO SMALL PETS or ONE MEDIUM SIZED(less than 50 lbs). We do ask that your pet be current on all vaccinations, flea meds and on leash when not in the cottage or cottage yard, as there are other animals on the property. Please DO NOT leave your fur baby unattended unless kenneled inside the cottage. There are "poop bags" available by the door , so please pick up after your pet and dispose in the metal trash can outside by the cottage exterior door . There will be a $50.00 surcharge added to the cleaning fee as it requires more time to clean after a pet visit. That can be paid at check in with cash or an app. We do have WIFI and the code will be available in the cottage, but we are in a rural setting and cannot guarantee the consistent service required for ZOOM and other platforms. However, there are several coffee shops in and around the square that work well if needed. Also note the master bedroom has a double bed due to the arrangement of the space. The sofa sleeper is a queen if additional sleeping space is preferred. We also have a Twin air mattress.Linens, pillows and extra blankets are available in the closet.
