Vita a Mare (Life at Sea) is a spacious, family-friendly coastal retreat set on a generous 700sqm block in the peaceful seaside enclave of Old Erowal Bay. Just minutes from Hyams Beach, the home is perfectly positioned for beach days, coastal walks, fishing, birdwatching and exploring Booderee National Park, with whale and dolphin cruises nearby. Cafés, restaurants and pubs in Huskisson are a short drive away, while Vincentia Marketplace is just 2 minutes away for everyday essentials. The space Vita a Mare is a relaxed, Balinese-inspired coastal home designed to comfortably accommodate families travelling together. It’s a true home away from home, with generous indoor and outdoor spaces that make it easy to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy a laid-back Jervis Bay holiday. Inside, the home features a large, fully equipped kitchen, split-system air conditioning for heating and cooling, and a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV and Netflix. There are three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one set up for kids with two bunk beds (four singles). A Smart TV is also located in the main bedroom for added comfort and flexibility. A separate games room offers a card table and board games, providing an additional space for both kids and adults to relax and enjoy time together. The living space flows outdoors to a covered alfresco area with a six-burner BBQ, wicker seating and a large, fully gated backyard. The yard is ideal for families and outdoor relaxation and includes a fire pit for cosy evenings under the stars. For guests needing to work while away, there is a dedicated office space with a desk, high-speed Starlink satellite internet, and a colour printer. Linen is provided for all beds, along with a coffee capsule machine and milk frother to start your mornings slowly and comfortably. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire home and surrounding yard throughout their stay. A small number of storage areas and sheds on the property are securely locked for private use and are not accessible to guests. Other things to note Vita a Mare is located in a quiet, family-friendly residential area and is best suited to guests looking to relax and unwind. We kindly ask that noise is kept to a respectful level, particularly in the evenings. The home uses a solar hot water system, which provides plenty of hot water when used mindfully, particularly for larger groups. Being surrounded by nature, guests may see local wildlife such as cockatoos, kangaroos and rabbits — a special part of staying in Old Erowal Bay.
