House in Haute-Provence, Verdon Natural Park

We will be happy to welcome you, in a spirit of sharing and kindness that we hope you will share, in an old building of 130 m² restored and decorated by us in a small village of the Alpes de Haute-Provence, in the Verdon Nature Park (mountains and lake nearby), ideal for a "nature" vacation or for teleworking in peace (4G). Cozy atmosphere, foosball, large terrace with barbecue, ... Nearby: hiking, biking, water sports, paragliding... The space Our house is an old building of 130 m² restored and decorated by us, with many objects and furniture found or recovered, and imbued with our family history, ideal for sharing good times or for teleworking in peace (good quality 4G). We wanted to keep as many old elements as possible (some floors, stairs, walls, etc.) while adding modern comfort and a more contemporary identity. It consists of: - a cosy living room with a large coffee table, - a friendly dining room with a table where you can eat 10 and with a foosball table for fun, - an open kitchen with a very old cupboard ideal for storing everything, - a large terrace of 60 m², with all the equipment to enjoy it (sofas and coffee table "house" made with old pallets, large table, barbecue, etc.), - 4 bedrooms, each with its own identity and colours: the burgundy room with a 140x190 double bed and its private bathroom, the white room with two bunk beds, the blue room and the eucalyptus room each with a 140x190 double bed, - a dormitory, ideal for children, with a TV corner (no TV channels, only a DVD player, with DVDs available), - two shower rooms and a bathroom, - a cellar with washing machine and dryer. Also note that there are: - two staircases of the miller's ladder type, but with a gentler inclination and with bars on the sides; - a wood-burning stove in the living room, one in the dining room/kitchen with also a large radiator and radiators in the other rooms. The house is located in a small, quiet and peaceful village (dead-end road), located in the Verdon Regional Nature Park and nestled in the mountains and close to a large lake (Lake Castillon). There are plenty of activities within easy reach (in addition to pétanque :-)): hiking, cycling, the beach and swimming, pedalos, paragliding, skiing in winter just 40 minutes away, etc. Please note: sheets and towels are not provided.
