Using the app is similar to Uber/Lift, but it's completely free! There is a public bus stop behind the hotel that may require transfers at the 7-11 near the entrance to Canyons Village. There is a small grocery/liquor store, the Marketplace, located in Westgate-behind Yotelpad. Other things to note: The closest large grocery store is Smith's at Kimball Junction. There are many restaurants, fast food and shops there. On the other side of Route 224, there is a Walmart and Whole Foods.
