This beautiful studio apt overlooks pool 8 > Mississippi. It has a living room, kitchen, private bath & sleeping area (2 queen beds). It has a private access & room to park with boat..battery charging available. Access to a gas grill. 2 boat launches are within min of this rental. We are located on an MRT biking hwy. Eagles/other river wild life are frequently seen at this location. WIFI in apt. We are 15 min from downtown La Crosse, WI, 15 miles to New Albin, & 27 miles from Lansing, iA. The space This studio apartment is housed in our home overlooking the Mississippi River in Brownsville MN. It is truly beautiful here and we have a wonderful view. The are two boat launches with a couple miles of here, one being a marina that hosts Friday night grill you own steak fries and live music Friday through Sunday. There is a rustic bar in town named Saxon Hall that is very well known for its pizza. The party island, Crator, is visible from our house, but far enough away to not have issues with noise. Many local, and a several national bass tournaments (Bass Master Open, Bass Master Elite, Major League Fishing) have been or are being held in this pool and recently, a national walleye tournament was held here. (We had our first Bass Master fisherman's family stay with us and they loved what the apartment offered them for their week's stay.) If you prefer pan or pike fishing, that is available here too. Highway 26, running in front of our property, is a frequent host to bikers and a couple times in the summer, you will find bike races being held along this stretch of road. We are 15 minutes from downtown La Crosse, WI which has many options for fine dining. If you would require food, that may be an option. Please discuss with us.
