MB Spanish Villa is located just steps away from the beach, the bay side, restaurants, etc. Make our beach house your home while you explore San Diego! This 800 sq ft UPSTAIRS unit has 2 BR & 1 bathroom. A perfect place for a guest or two or for the whole family up to 6 people. There is 1 queen bed & 2 twin beds. There’s an ottoman bed and folding bed for the 6th guest for an additional $35/night. We apply new cleaning protocol according to CDC and Airbnb guidelines. Early check in is possible. The space Nicely remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom UPSTAIRS UNIT Spanish Villa with private entrances in a 2 story building less than a minute walk to the beach! Owner completed an extensive remodeling in 2018 which includes new kitchen with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, undermount sink and stainless steel appliances, new laminate wood flooring in main living area and bedrooms, fresh paint, new bathroom vanity and custom backsplash tile in bathroom. Features also include a large balcony off of the living room with a peek-a-boo ocean view and 1 assigned parking space. Note: brand new sofa and loveseat as of July 2023! Located in the heart of Mission Beach less than 1 block to the ocean and less than 1 block to the bay. This unit is located within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and water activities. Start the morning off right with some coffee at Better Buzz Coffee – The Lab, Olive Caffe, or The Mission Café. Then enjoy a nice, leisurely breakfast at Breakfast Republic, Crushed, Woody’s Breakfast and Burgers. All are popular stops near our villa. Venture out for some fresh morning air – try Fanuel Street Park, Crown Point, or Palisades Park for a nice morning walk. Feel free to prep an afternoon snack in our kitchen, or just head out for a bite to eat. In San Diego, there are plenty of fun restaurants to visit. Try Single Fin Surf Grill, Chop Shop Teriyaki, Better Buzz, or Cheesy Express for lunch. Then head back home for a nice afternoon nap, or just freshen up with a quick shower. Popular nearby dinner destinations include: Rosaria Pizza, Oceana Coastal Kitchen, Alta Marea, Miss B’s Coconut Club, Guava Beach. Try one, or try all! After a long day spent out exploring, spend some lazy time in the comfy living room. Or just head straight to your cozy bed. Don’t leave town without exploring some local flavor. Stop at Green Flash Sculpture, Ocean Beach Boardwalk, and Bay Park while you’re staying with us. The Neighborhood We are located just steps away from the beach and bayside. Getting Around Plenty of fun places are within walking distance. The villa is also very close to bicycle-friendly roads. Other Things to Note This is a highly desirable beach property. There might be some common wear and tear but everything is in good working condition. Please keep in mind that you will be staying in a home, not a hotel. Therefore, we ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would do your own. We travel often and have help managing guest services for our home while we are away. ADVISORY NOTE: Please be respectful and comply with the house rules. Mission Beach is highly populated neighborhood. Parties or gatherings are not allowed without getting prior approval. We reserve the right to cancel your check in or evict you if you break the house rules. Photos are based on the property condition and furniture at the time the photos were taken. Management reserves the rights to modify the property and or replace any of the furniture at any time when necessary and should not be held responsible for having different furniture in the property. Air conditioners were completely installed in March of 2024. Parking is precious in Mission Beach. The parking spot is spacious enough for 2 full size cars side by side or 1 full size car and 1 compact car in tandem plus one full size car next to them for a total of 3 cars. Each group of guests will get one parking spot. If you have a second car, you will need to park your cars in tandem in the longer parking spot. However, there is no guarantee for parking spot for the second car as it is first come first serve. If you have a large car or large SUV such as GMC Yukon or Dodge RAM, parking will be a challenge and we will not be held responsible for it. Due to the fact that this is a shared parking spot, every one needs to make sure to park their cars either in the left or the right spot; don’t park in the middle. The property may not be suitable for those who can't tolerate traffic noise. Guest access Very nice and spacious shared courtyard with two sets of patio furniture and umbrella, and 2 BBQ grills for you to enjoy. Other things to note For bicycles, boogie boards, and other beach stuffs can easily be rented at a nearby rental place called "Cheap Rentals" which is conveniently located; only about 100 ft or 2 minutes walk from the property.
