The "Bass", our clean, cozy, traditional northwoods 2 bdrm cabin at historic McGrath's Big Arb Resort on Big Arbor Vitae Lake, just 8 min north of Minocqua. 1090 acres Class A fishing, sandy beach, swim raft, pet friendly($35/day fee), sitting area right on the beach, picnic table, stone fire-pit! Great ice-fishing right outside the door, & it is right on the main snowmobile trail. 2,3 & 7 min night stay depending on time of year, inquire within. The space McGrath's Big Arb Resort is a year-round, lakefront, family resort offering 8 cabins...(4) resort cabins and (4) off-site private cabins on the lake nearby with private lots and separate amenities. "Hall's Knotty Pine Tavern" was built in the 1920's as a lakeside respite for thirsty fishermen. In the '30's, cabins were added to accommodate visiting family members eager to escape big cities for the peace, solitude and beauty of the Northwoods. Time has moved on and eventually the bar was transformed into living quarters with another cabin added on top, but not much else has changed...the peace, solitude and timeless beauty of the Northwoods remains as enchanting as ever! All of our cabins have modern, comfortable updates, fully-equipped kitchens with knotty pine interiors, and 4 of our units are pet friendly for an extra fee $35/day, $175/week! (fee will be added to your reservation after it is made) The "Bass" is a precious, traditional, resort cabin with just enough "rustic" to confirm that you are indeed in the Northwoods, but with all the wonderful updates you need to make sure you are comfortable! Located right on the water, this cabin includes a gas fireplace, air conditioning, flat screen TV with Roku, WiFi, bed linens, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, coffeemaker, toaster, all the necessary dishes and cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, lawn furniture, picnic table. In addition, there is a sandy beach perfect for little ones, swim raft, screened in fish cleaning shack with electric, heat and running hot/cold water, campfire pits, shared canoe, row boat, & 2 kayaks and private dock space. 1090 acre lake, 75% state owned means breath-taking natural beauty and no crowds! Class A fishing and motor sports, and in winter, excellent ice-fishing right outside your door. 100's of miles of snowmobile trails...cozy cabin, right on the lake. Four Seasons Bar and Supperclub right next door! Slo's Pub is 1 minute down the lake. 8 minutes from town of Minocqua with main street, delicious dining and shopping galore! 3 night minimum reservation required for peak periods such as Jan, Feb, May, Sept, Oct and holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE. Will consider a 2 night reservation during peak periods to fill a last minute vacancy, such as a cancellation, Sat-Sat reservations only during June, July, Aug. Pontoon rental available for $250/day or $1100/week with advance notice. 7 hp motor available for rent for $50/day or $350/week also with advance notice. Guest access The whole cabin is yours! Other things to note ---This is a housekeeping cabin and features a fully equipped kitchen with hand soap and dish soap, plus all bed linens and pillows, however we do NOT provide bath towels of any kind due to the heavy demand this puts on our septic. We start you out with 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 garbage bags, a roll of paper towels and dish towels, but other paper products are up to you! ---For additional guests (over 4 capacity), it is $35 per day per person for the first 2 nights....or $70/week per person. ---Pet fee is $35/day or $175 per week. Pet fees and additional person fees will be added after the reservation is made.
