A modern six bedroom, 4 1/2 bath house with stunning river views available for Derby. A six bedroom house located right on the Ohio River, with beautiful views out over a marina to the river beyond. Ideally located close to Interstate 264 for easy access to Churchill Downs and other local attractions. Local attractions include the popular riverside restaurant Captains Quarters, located less than five minutes away, along with plenty of other great local restaurants. Rent kayaks or canoes locally and explore the peaceful creeks close by. There are five bedrooms in the main house and 1 self contained apartment above the garage. Master bedroom has a king size bed and full en-suite bath Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and full en-suite bathroom Bedroom 3 has a king size bed Bedroom 4 has a queen size bedd Bedroom 5 has a twin bed Apartment has one king size bed, kitchen and bathroom The house has a large and modern kitchen/dining area to accommodate your whole party comfortably. Outside there is an outdoor kitchen with a large grill and wood burning oven. There is a large table that will comfortably seat 12 and is an ideal spot to sit and enjoy the sunset over the river. The house is family friendly but is just as well suited to an all adult group. Right now the house is only available for Derby. Price for Derby is $3,000 per night, 3 night minimum You will have access to all areas of the house and outdoor space, with the exception of one small room downstairs that we use for storing personal items while you use our house. We will be close by in Louisville while you use the house, so I'm available to help you with any questions/problems you may have. The house is not located in a residential neighborhood, instead it looks onto Limestone Marina, and is near a number of local restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining. Amenities such as grocery stores, dry cleaning etc, can be found a five minute drive away. You'll want a car to access the local amenities and restaurants, and shouldn't have any issues with parking at any of them. Please note, this is our primary residence so we want you to know that it may not feel exactly like other vacation rentals you have rented through airbnb. It has more signs of habitation such as photos and personal items. Of course, we work really hard to make sure it is clean and perfect for our derby guests, and feel like the personality of the house is part of its charm!
