Welcome to the Flip Flop Inn, You'll enjoy being centrally located in our friendly residential neighborhood. Just 1 mile to the PLeasure Pier, 2 miles to downtown Strand area, 4 miles to Schlitterbahn waterpark, and just 6 blocks to the beach. Load up the wagon with our beach chairs, umbrella and ice chest and head out for a fun-filled day at the beach. The Flip Flop Inn is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a private outdoor lounge area to relax . The space Your private space is located on the ground floor of this historic raised Queen Ann cottage that was built in 1910. Your hosts reside on the 2nd floor, with a separate entrance. There is an outdoor sitting area just outside your door. Guest access Walking distance to the beach for social distancing at it's finest. Well lit laptop workstation and wifi if you need to "check-in with the boss". All restaurants are open for take-out and delivery, but we've also got a full kitchen to cook your own meals (if you're into that sort of thing). Other things to note Holidays and local special events such as Mardi Gras, Memorial day, & Labor Day are subject to 3 night minimum.
