Indoor Infinity Pool - Outdoor HotTub - Sauna

This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! The space This home is 4,638 sqft. 5 spacious bedrooms (see photos for details), a beautiful 30 x 16 Sunroom, an Indoor Endless Pool, a Hot Tub outside, and a infrared sauna located in your own spa room, perfect for exercise and relaxation without leaving your home. Accents include vaulted ceilings, skylights, 2 story stone aesthetic fireplace, master suite, whole house automatic generator in case the power cuts out, and a beautifully landscaped backyard! The property is situated at the end of a court giving you additional privacy, but also close to all restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Key features include: - Indoor Pool: It's not just a pool, but an Endless Pool, which creates an optional, adjustable current for you to swim/train in. The pool is heated very nicely and perfect for the winter time. - Hot Tub: We also have a large Hot Tub just outside the Sun Room features with jets for your pleasure. That way you get a water experience both indoors and outdoors. - Sun Room: The sun room is stunning and hard to capture with a photo. With glass doors all around and an all-season evergreen back drop, it’s perfect for a relaxing break year round. Sit back, read a book, watch the backyard birds, or listen to music as you enjoy a meal at our table. - Backyard: Our backyard is beautifully landscaped and features a fire pit (bring your own wood). - Kitchen: Equipped for nearly everything you need. Enjoy coming together around the kitchen to make your favorite meals. - Laundry Room: There's a washer and dryer near the garage. Please bring your own detergent & dryer sheets if you'd like to use it. Other features: - 10 Beds and a sofa that pulls out into a bed. (There are also several large couches that can be used if desired and can help accommodate large groups) - 4 full bathrooms - Multiple living rooms with plenty of seating accommodations - Work desk (but there are several work areas with beautiful environments) - Multiple smart TVs on each floor & bedroom - Use the Xumo app on our Smart TVs to get access to Full Cable TV and a wide selection of channels, including sports, news, movies, and family favorites. Including on-demand titles and popular streaming apps. - Xbox with multiple controllers - 2 arcade games with multiple games on each setup. We are very happy to discuss your situation and would love to accommodate you. IMPORTANT - Families with Children: Keep in mind that we have an indoor pool and hot tub. You are responsible and liable for your children's safety and whereabouts. No children under 18 allowed in the pool room without a parent/guardian. Guest access Custom unique code for you will be auto generated and sent to you just before 4pm when check-in starts. Follow the check-in instructions on how to use our smart lock which will allow you to enter and leave anytime during your stay. Other things to note Guest Capacity: 1) You're welcome to bring up to 16 guests. 2) I have a number of bedrooms & beds, but you'll need to accommodate sleeping arrangements if you need additional beds than what is provided. There's plenty of room in the home to put down air mattresses if you were to bring your own. 3) After 2 guests, each guest (adults/child/infant) costs an additional $20/guest/day. Please keep this in mind as this covers the additional costs of more cleaning hours typically incurred. We do check to confirm the # of guests that will be entering the home. Please be sure to account for each adult, child, & infant. Vehicles: 1) 3 cars in total can fit in the garage/driveway. Our driveway has a slight curve to it with an electrical box on the corner. We have put up orange reflective poles to help see this at night, please be aware as you back up cautiously. Damages to the poles, electrical box, & grass will need to be covered by the guest(s). 2) Please note that no cars are allowed to be parked on the grass or the road during the day or night. At night, they will be ticketed by the city. And we also ask not to park on the streets during the day as a courtesy to the neighbors. 3) Good news is, there's a "Park n Ride" parking lot just a minute from the home that you can park at overnight for up to 6 days. This would allow you to car pool any remaining guests over to the home. I have confirmed with the City of Midland, and State of Michigan that this is acceptable. Address to this parking area is 2726, 2700 W Wackerly St, Midland, MI 48640. Pool Maintenance: Please note we have the pool & hot tub regularly maintained. It is possible someone may knock or ring the door bell during your stay during business hours. They do knock several times and wait for a while, if no one answers they do enter the home and go straight to the pool to complete their regular required maintenance. This usually occurs every Monday for about an hour. It is possible due to unexpected scheduling conflicts and/or holidays, the day can change. Thanks for your understanding as we make sure the pool/hot tub is properly serviced. Purpose for Airbnbing the home - Sarah (my late wife who passed away from cancer) loved being a host for all friends/family. She also loved being an Airbnb host for people all around the world. In her memory, we continue to Airbnb the home so others can create memorable moments in the home too. I also keep this home so my little children can grow up visiting this home to remember their mom and the many positive memories we've had with her.
