Cheerful, sunny, comfy large room almost downtown

Bloomington, Indiana USA. VERY IMPORTANT! NO FRAGRANCES OR SCENTED PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS. PLEASE!! Welcome to my huge sunny very private guest room w private 1/2 bath. It's up easy stairs over the kitchen addition on the back of my 117 year old house. It's 4 blocks from downtown and 1 mile from the edge of the IU campus. 2 very friendly indoor cats live here. They are not allowed in the guest room but occasionally they sneak up there All guests MUST have had their Covid-19 vaccinations! The space The room-which is the nicest one in the house- has a queen sized bed, couch, Wi-fi, TV with no cable but has a Roku box with Netflix, desk and folding table. There is a local calls only phone in the room as well. You can arrange the furniture whatever way you like! There is also a large closet that has a small ironing board and iron stashed away. The bed has down comforter and pillows although a regular quilt, down free pillows and blankets are available. All bed linens are 100% cotton. Sheets and towels are dried outside in the sun on the clothesline whenever possible. The room has hardwood floors with no carpet and the acoustics are wonderful. The couch is large enough and comfortable enough to sleep on in case you need space for a third person or prefer not to share the bed with your companion. There is a private ½ bath there. The main bathroom downstairs (not part of a master suite) has an extra long claw foot tub and a 5 ft square walk- in shower with water jets and grab bars on the walls. This bath is shared. I have 2 friendly cats if you'd like some purr therapy. Musicians-especially folk and classical- and artists are quite welcome- in addition to everybody else! There is room enough for rehearsal space for unamplified music. 11p.m is noise curfew time all over Bloomington. I’m also LGBT friendly and welcoming. Folks of all nationalities and ethnic backgrounds are welcome in my home. Guest access Washer and drier and clothesline are available. There can be space in the second fridge for you. There is coffee (real fresh ground) and tea available to you along with honey, ½ n ½ etc. There is a large dining room table in the kitchen that you may use to spread out your work if you care to use it. You will come in through the back door of the house and cross the kitchen to get to the upstairs. I sleep in the front of the house so you probably wouldn’t disturb me. You can park on the side street by my house or frequently in my driveway in the back. During your stay I am a potter who works at home in a separate studio out in back of the house. I am home much of the time but frequently not in the house. We can interact as much or a little as you like. Of course I will greet you and give you the tour upon your arrival! Other things to note VERY IMPORTANT!! NO FRAGRANCES!! I am very sensitive to perfumes, colognes, aftershaves, scented deodorants, laundry detergents, hairsprays, lotions, fragrances and most scents so PLEASE refrain from wearing, spraying, spritzing or using them while you are here! Please try not to bring them into the house either on you or in your bags. It can take days or even weeks to get the smell out of the house and the heating and air-conditioning system so PLEASE respect this! Again-NO FRAGRANCES WHILE YOU ARE STAYING HERE!
