Welcome to The Tides Upper Apartment — a beautifully updated retreat in the heart of Block Island. This apartment offers three Queen bedrooms, each newly equipped with A/C split units, for up to 6 guests. It is walking distance to Old Harbor's best bars and restaurants, and a 10-minute walk to Town Beach. End each day on your private porch watching the Block Island sky at sunset! The space The Tides: Upper Apartment offers a well-appointed layout with three private Queen bedrooms — one with its own en-suite full bath, and a second full bath off the living room. The fully equipped kitchen and living area are bright and comfortable, and the private porch offers views perfect for morning coffee or watching the sunset. Split-unit A/Cs newly installed throughout. Enjoy the yard for outdoor games, grilling area and outdoor shower after a nice beach day! Guest access Guests enjoy a generous yard with a dedicated grilling area and outdoor shower. Please note that these outdoor amenities are shared with guests of The Tides: Lower Apartment. The Tides is a multi-unit guesthouse; rental of the entire property is not available. The Upper and Lower Apartments can be rented by the same guests however there no entry point that links the two. A private section of the home is maintained by the owner — please respect all doors marked "Private." Other things to note **Quiet Hours begin at 10pm. The island's bars and restaurants are just a short walk away — please take the fun there after hours. **All guests must register upon arrival. Unregistered guests on the property are grounds for eviction. No parties or gatherings. The apartment accommodates a maximum of six guests and does not permit air mattresses. **This is a non-smoking home. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, away from shared amenities. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. **Excessive cleaning or trash removal will incur additional fees. A Note on Sustainability The Tides is committed to becoming an eco-friendly property. We use eco-conscious cleaning products, biodegradable soaps, and natural landscaping practices to conserve water and energy. We have a small organic herb and food garden on-site and are working toward making the entire property a green living space. Block Island shares these values — the island has banned single-use plastics and balloons and powers itself largely through offshore wind. We ask that guests do their part by turning off lights, conserving water, and using the recycling and composting bins provided.
