Downtown Art Studio Apartment

This art studio is located only about three blocks from Lockhart's cute town square complete with Lockhart's famous barbecue and locally owned cafes, shops, and bars. Only 15 miles from the Formula One race track and 30 miles from Austin, you can be close to everything while getting out of the city hustle and bustle. On the other hand, Lockhart has plenty to offer, so you can also just come and enjoy relaxing in this cute slice of Texas. The original owner was an architect and an artist. He designed the house, and the studio was his actual art studio. You can still see his beautiful brush strokes on the wall. The floor is a reclaimed basketball court from Concordia University, making the space very unique. The space includes a kitchenette and full bathroom with cute retro tile. Please note, the apartment shares a wall with our toddlers’ room. We try to keep the noise down, but you may hear us moving around sometimes.
