Description

Rare find. Centrally located. Experience Fort Greene. Designed by a local Brooklyn architect to bring nature into the living space so that you feel calm and at home. High ceilings, well-lit, well-appointed kitchen, private deck. Unwind in our historic brownstone; immerse yourself in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Bklyn. A walker's paradise w/easy access to the subway, restaurants, bars, shopping, Fort Greene & Prospect Park, BAM, Barclays, Park Slope, Downtown Bklyn & Manhattan. The space Designed especially for writers, artists, creatives, this charming, light-filled, one-bedroom apartment is located on a quiet tree-lined street in historic Fort Greene, Brooklyn. It's a unique space that was designed and fabricated by Tim Seggerman, a Brooklyn architect, using natural wood and materials. It’s inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian design, and modernist architecture, and is decorated with one-of-a-kind furnishings and artwork. It has high ceilings, an open eat-in kitchen, a Bertazzoni range, and a Bosch dishwasher. In the living area, there’s a flat-screen tv with premium cable and a stereo with Bluetooth. The Fort Greene Farmers’ Market is a few blocks away. The bedroom has a custom-built pine bed frame with a memory-foam queen-size mattress, organic cotton sheets, and built-in side tables. The bathroom has a slate-green stone floor, and wood walls, inspired by a dry heat sauna. We use natural cleaning products. The apartment is in a building built in the 1800s. Guest access You climb the building's front stairs and enter at the main entrance, which is shared by the building's tenants who live upstairs. Your apartment is a private floor-through on the parlor floor, the first door on your right, with an outdoor deck. This unit is the upper part of our owner's duplex. Other things to note ***Please note that we follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of our guests. In addition to taking extra precautions on our end, we ask our guests to do the same by leaving the space extra clean upon departure, including removing their own garbage, and disinfecting high touch areas, such as door knobs and surfaces, before leaving the premises. We offer one complimentary cleaning every 30 days. Every guest staying with us needs to be included in your reservation. Thank you for your cooperation.
