The Misia Country Resort & SPA is located in the ancient village of Rocca Ripesena, overlooking in a panoramic position on the woods and pristine hills in front of Orvieto. Rocca Ripesena, an ancient, evocative and peaceful location situated at the foot of a vast tufaceous cliff of volcanic origin, which dominates the whole panorama of Orvieto with "the golden lily of the Cathedrals" about 6 km away. Even some geologists claim that in 1223 BC it was the volcanic eruption of Bolsena that deposited the mass of tuff of Rocca Ripesena and that of Orvieto in this soil. the Borgo has a few resident families, and a small and humble church that was completely rebuilt in the early 1900s and consecrated a few years later, where Holy Mass is celebrated every Sunday in a very particular context, woods and hills are the setting to a panorama nothing short of fantastic. Misia offers 2 apartments and 10 rooms furnished with a combination of design and characteristic style to offer its guests an experience full of charm in a natural context rich in history. The rooms are equipped with every comfort to offer its customers a stay full of tranquility, rest and warmth, while breakfast is served in the room giving goodness and refinement. It is possible to request one or more beds for children and to accommodate pets. Misia offers the possibility of moving to and from the station, the city of Orvieto and in the surrounding areas and upon prior request, the possibility to rely on trusted drivers for transfers to the nearest airports.
