Gladstone Getaway
This retired family home provides a front and back entrance, two off-street parking spots, ample street parking. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are found on the first floor. The bathroom and sleeping areas are located on the second floor. Conveniently near all Gladstone has to offer! Guests will have the entire house to themselves. Sally and her family live next door in the neighboring home, and while she is available if assistance is needed, she will not intrude after check-in. Guests have access to the entire home. There is a side porch on the east side of the house that is used for storage and is currently not preferable for guest use. Sally and her family are very friendly and love making conversation. However, if you’re looking for a more quiet stay, then that will not be an issue. There will always be someone at home while guests are at the house, so if assistance is needed at any point, help is only a text or yell away. Our humble abode is located just two blocks away from Gladstone’s downtown, the center of activity in town. The house is also within walking distance of local restaurants and bars and approximately a quarter-mile walk from VanCleve Park located on Little Bay de Noc. Walking around Gladstone is convenient, as we are a relatively small town. But anything out of town, use a car, cab, or DATA bus! Rosebud, our golden retriever, lives at our house (not the Airbnb) and only goes outside on a lead that does not extend to the Airbnb property. She is very friendly, but if you are allergic to animals or just don’t like dogs, she won’t be a problem!
