Enjoy Broadford Lake Park, Deep Creek Lake which is a 12 minute drive, Blackwater Falls State Park, 45 minutes by car, Swallow Falls, and picturesque Canaan Valley WV are both nearby. 3 adults maximum, plus children for a total of five guests allowed. One bed is a roll-out twin mattress. LGBTQ welcome. Absolutely no smoking. The space The rental includes the entire large, private apartment space as shown in the pictures, plus parking. Sleeps 3 adults. This is not a shared rental space, the apartment is private, attached to the owner's home, but separate. You will have the keys and be able to lock all doors, including the door that connects the hallway to the owner's home. Limited garage space is available for storing of items during your stay. Not suitable for toddlers or the elderly. No ramp access. Three steps at entryway, 12 steps to main space. Please note: The bathroom is on the entry level of the apartment. Living area is one flight up. Parking is located directly in front of the living space. One vehicle permitted per booking, on the driveway, other vehicles would need to be parked elsewhere (side street for example). 3 adults maximum. No smoking. There is no Television or Cable TV on the property - there is WiFi. Guest access Private entrance, master bedroom with Queen bed, alcove with Queen bed, plus thick fold-out memory foam twin sized floor mattress for a teen or older child. The main area is a large family room with kitchenette that includes a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee & filters, fridge, and utensils/plates. We'll take care of your dishes and provide clean ones. The main space includes a supremely comfortable oversized recliner chair, suitable for sleeping. There is a private bath with shower (no tub). We're happy to provide fresh towels and sheets for your stay, as well as shampoo, bath soap and a hair dryer. Bathroom is on the entry level. Living space is upstairs. 3 adults maximum. No smoking. No pets. Other things to note Just a few minutes drive to the heart of Oakland, where you will find a CVS, a Walgreen's, and Walmart. Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Candyland (900 varieties of candy!), El Canela Mexican restaurant (we recommend!), Taco Bell, Denny's, Sheetz, Tomanetti's Italian, Ari's pizza - try the fried green tomatoes - Fox's Den Pizza, Bubba's, Dairy Queen, Subway, Arby's, Loch Lynn Restaurant. Ten minute drive to White Barn wedding/event space. In Deep Creek/McHenry you will find Uno's, Arrowhead Market, Black Bear Tavern, McDonald's, Burger King, Archie's Barbecue, Ledo Pizza, Lakeside Creamery, Little Sandy's, Dutch's at Silver Tree, Ace's Run and many more options. For entertainment and shopping, Garrett 8 Cinemas, Smiley's Fun Zone, Deep Creek Ski and Snowboard rentals, Deep Creek MasterCraft & Sports, Deep Creek Lake Boat rentals, Fun Time Watersports, Deep Creek Marina, Fun Unlimited Arcade, Deep Creek Pottery, ATV tours at Western Trails, Monkey Business Adventure Park (ziplining), Wisp's Beach Hut (paddleboarding), Deep Creek Lake Discovery Center, Circle R Ranch for horseback riding, and for some nightlife, Honi-Honi. 3 adults maximum.
