"There is a very large yard and the property is 20 acres. There are open hills and mountains surrounding the property and the land is public. That means no houses or other buildings. It is a very pristine setting. We have lived in the area for 45 years and on this ranch for over 20. We are happy to guide you to your choice of restaurants, trails, events and venues in the area. We know the history of the area well and are available to share this info with you. But we respect your privacy and you will have complete solitude in the cabin. We are a bit out of town in what we consider the "real Idaho." Wide open spaces, endless BLM trails and vistas.A short drive in to Hailey brings you to shopping, restaurants, hockey rink, cross country skiing, bike paths, theaters. We are 1.5 miles from Rota Run Ski Area. The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation runs this training facility but it is open to the public for night and weekend skiing/boarding. Also a great place to skin up and ski down. You can hike or mountain bike from the cabin as far as you like. Miles and miles of trails adjacent to our property. 600 acre hayfield to the East. No neighbors. Dogs are allowed. Please limit to two dog maximum. Fee for dogs is $10 per dog per night. This can be paid separately when here. We strive to completely clean the unit after every stay but if you have severe pet allergies this might not be your best choice.
