Abercroft House apartment is a very large, self-contained apartment within the main house. It has its own front door and outside area and is as big as a small house. Guests enjoy the privacy of having their own place whilst having the convenience of the owners being next door if any queries arise. Abercroft House is in the leafy Kowhai Park area, only a 5 minute stroll from the river. Wanganui town centre is a 30 minute walk or 3 minute drive away, where there is a fabulous selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Also to be found are the many private art galleries, along with the public Sargeant Gallery and the Wanganui museum. Wanganui's most famous attraction is its river and there are many ways to enjoy this magnificent waterway, from kayaking to jet-boating to just walking its banks.
