A whole Island to yourself Lose yourself in paradise… Privacy gets redefined here Place This island is about 10 mins by boat from the main land and is completely self reliant with organic produce and fish for consumption. Most of our food is homegrown and around the island. We procure it from local families and help our neighboring farmers. Uniqueness Perhaps one of the only islands where a river meets a lake and is given to you. This place is ideally for a couple or a family or two known couples. Maximum number of guests should not exceed more than 4. The whole island is exclusively for you, with a butler who dishes out some of the best local Kerala cuisine. Activities Kayak, swim or go fishing in virgin water of the River Kallada on one side and the unpolluted water of the Ashtamudi Lake on the other. Check out how our locals live during the day with our village tour or have an Ayurvedic massage done in a nearby place and go on a sunset cruise. Wind down the day with a romantic dinner in our 'vallam', a local boat or if you still have enough energy, go fish hunting or crab hunting catch the elusive 'Pearl spot' fish or the delicious mud crab, both usually caught at night .
