Charming candlelit character off grid living set in private woodland. NO ELECTRICITY. Ideal for a digital detox. The Engine House is a pretty romantic cottage on the North Shropshire/Welsh Border with NO electricity, there are lots of candles and wood available for the wood burning stove that heats water for the big roll top bath and radiators. Set in acres of woodland, on its own with an iron firepit to cook local dexter burgers or toast marshmallows. Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen with a gas cooker and small gas cooler, dining table and hallway. Upstairs there is a cosy double bedded room with feather duvet, a large bedroom with two single beds, privacy screen, big comfy chairs and a big bathroom with volumous freestanding bath, sink and proper flushing loo. Outside there is woodland ping pong, fire pit, lakes, paths walks and and a rural cycleway. Linen supplied, stock of board games, books. Well behaved dogs welcome (£20 charge to owner please). Children over 5 years please, significant fire risk and open water.
