Close to Heaven

My 1600 square foot home is comfortable and cozy, located in a quiet, safe neighborhood 3 miles north of Ketchum, outside the Wood River Valley traffic stream. There is a big back yard, great for dog play. The friendly neighborhood is adjacent to public lands, with lots of linked hiking and biking trails. Just north of my neighborhood is the Sawtooth National Recreation Area with Galena Lodge, Galena Peak, the Sawtooth Mountain basin wilderness, and the quaint town of Stanley 60 miles north. The space The guest room is a few feet in from the front door on the left side with a single bed and a pop-up single trundle that can be a second separate bed - or put the two together for a king; the bathroom is just 3 feet across the hall. You have you own stone patio just outside your garden door. As you continue into the house, the kitchen is on the right with an adjacent dining area; the living room with a vaulted ceiling and gas firestove is on the left. The entire area is open, light, and airy with windows everywhere. My living/working/sleeping area is on the second floor. If you like light and sun, you'll love this place! Guest access You will have access to the entire first floor. Parking is easy in the 4-car parking area in front of my two-car garage. During your stay I like to greet my guests, show them around, and answer all questions. My socializing depends on what else I'm doing when guests visit and how much interaction guests want. But I'm always interested in helping, providing info about the Valley, and being a warm, and welcoming host. Other things to note I love dogs and have an 8-year-old Aussie/Border Collie name Jack. Also an 8-month-old kitten named Mazy. Both are fine with a visiting dog as long as it's not huge, wild, or crazy. And, oh yes, beware! You will love the area so much you won't want to leave!
