Imagine spending time on the shores of the stunning Lake Wakatipu with magnificent views of the lake and surrounding mountain ranges. In summer the area comes alive with summer holiday makers enjoying boating, water skiing and fishing on the lake. In winter the ski fields buzz with visitors from around the globe converging on the world class Remarkables ski fields which is just 30 minutes drive away. The home is warm and cosy in winter with a wood heater and electric heat pump to heat the kitchen, dining and living rooms with electric wall panel heaters in the bedrooms. Kingston is a sleepy village on the lake front and is the starting point of the Around the Mountain Cycle Trail. This trail is a 120 km cycle trail that runs from Kingston to Walter Peak Station on the western shores of Lake Wakatipu. This gentle trail meanders through farm land and park lands past lakes and vistas of the surrounding mountain ranges. Our cute and cosy holiday house has all you will need for a great break away.
