Rental unit in Queens

Sublet my cozy, sunny guest room in my eclectic two bedroom pre-war apartment in Long Island City, the Kaufman Arts District of Astoria, Queens. Women and 🏳️‍🌈 preferred - I'm sharing my home and want us both to be comfortable in the common spaces. Unlike most room sublets on this site, you will only have one (female) housemate! Near transportation, museums, restaurants, and shopping. Two subway stops from midtown manhattan/59th street. Fast Uber pickup and rental cars in area. The space Your PRIVATE ROOM is a sunny and cozy space with a memory foam queen bed, clothing rack, chest of drawers, mirrors, desk, and chair. The room has minimalist, beach - inspired décor. The room is the second bedroom of my two bedroom apartment. Common spaces (bath, kitchen, living room) are shared with me. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a busy, family-oriented prewar walk-up building with all of the original fixtures and crown moldings. The building is old (est. 1910), so creaks and other old building quirks are to expected. The property shares the neighborhood with Kaufman Studios, where many popular movies and TV are filmed. Celebrity encounters are fairly common - I've ran into Jennifer Lopez, Anne Hathaway, and several cast members from Law & Order, Chopped, Dexter, and Orange is the New Black. Guest access Their subletted room, kitchen, bathroom and living room. Other things to note This is furnished sublet room in my home. Please do not expect hotel amenities. You will be asked to sign a sublet agreement upon arrival. The building does not have an elevator.
