Mahaanui Cottage is a fully furnished, self-contained, private, country cottage located in the beautiful Tiniroto, half way between Gisborne and Wairoa (approx. 50 minutes driving either way). With everything you need for an enjoyable stay, the cottage is perfect for friends and families looking for a relaxing country break. Or active farm experience. With 3 spacious bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps up to 8 people. And if needed, a double sofa-bed and extra single bed can be added in one of the lounges – to sleep an extra 3 people. Plus there's plenty of room for tents in the cottage garden! The kitchen is well equipped and has basic food provisions such as flour, sugar, cooking oil, spices, tea and coffee but you will have to bring all your other food with you. We encourage you to go walking over the 614 hectares of farmland during your stay, or venture over to the scenic Hangaroa River or Doneraille Park – both only minutes away. So whether it be to walk, swim, kayak, fish, picnic, cycle or just relax with a book!
